Description

The Timber Sweater was designed to honour Canada’s local textile heritage while creating a versatile, enduring addition to any wardrobe. Made-to-order in our rural Alberta studio, this sweater is knit on a flatbed manual knitting machine, a process that takes 5–8 hours to complete. Crafted with undyed wool, it reflects the natural tones of the fleece. Available in two sheep-shade colours—Quarry (medium grey) and Muskeg (dark grey/brown)—it’s a sweater as rooted in purpose as it is in comfort.

The Timber Sweater’s relaxed fit and raglan sleeves provide versatile comfort for any occasion. Pair it with jeans and boots for an everyday look, layer it over a thermal for extra warmth outdoors, or wear it under a coat for effortless winter layering. Its ribbed cuffs, hem, and neckline offer a classic design that complements its natural texture and timeless appeal.

Materials

  • Main Fabric: 100% wool
  • Fibre Origin: Wool sourced primarily from the Canadian Prairies, with some fibres from Atlantic Canada and the northern U.S.
  • Dyeing Method: Un-dyed, showcasing the natural hues of the fleece.
  • Labels: 100% Organic Cotton
  • Note: Small knots may appear in the knitwear due to traditional spinning methods. These knots have been felted for durability.

Care Instructions

  • Refresh by hanging in the sunshine
  • Hand wash in cold water with mild detergent

Warm, Sustainable & Stylish!

I simply can't wear anything else in cold weather! This sweater is SOOO warm without being bulky or heavy. But not only is it warm, it's soft and stylish... I have never gotten more compliments on a sweater! I would have expected to pay $1,000+ for a sweater of this warmth and quality. I can't wait for more cuts and styles to come out as I'll be purchasing them all.

Lastly, the sustainability piece is an added bonus. It feels great to be wearing local Alberta wool made with Alberta hands.

My go to!!!

I've never received more compliments about how I dress than when I wear this sweater. A testament to the quality and craftsmanship. I struggle to find clothes that fit and give me confidence. This is an exception!
