Land Acknowledgment

At Marty Lynn, we humbly acknowledge that our business operates on Treaty 6 territory, a traditional gathering place for diverse Indigenous peoples, including the Cree, Saulteaux, Blackfoot, Métis, Dene, and Nakota Sioux. This land, known today as Lac Ste. Anne County, has a rich history rooted in the stewardship of these communities, who cared for the soil, animals, and ecosystems long before colonial agriculture was introduced.

As a business closely tied to agriculture, we recognize that our work exists within a colonial system that displaced Indigenous peoples and disrupted traditional ways of living. We are committed to learning about and honouring the land’s history while striving to build connections that reflect respect, reciprocity, and care for the land and its communities.
