Grown on the Prairies

The wool and alpaca fibre I use is sourced from Canadian farmers who are doing the important work of stewarding the land.

Custom Woolen Mills Mule Spinner

Milled Rurally

The yarn I use is spun at various local mills. The main mill I use is Custom Woolen Mills in Alberta, one of the few remaining wool mills in Canada. Here, raw fleece is washed, carded, and spun using traditional methods that honour Canada’s wool heritage.

Made-To-Order

Each garment is handcrafted here in Alberta and made with 100% undyed wool so that it may be composted at the end of its life, returning valuable nutrients back to the soil.
