Description

The Woodland Sweater is a relaxed, slightly cropped, raglan crewneck for women, made-to-order in Alberta with 100% undyed Canadian wool. Designed to be worn with high-waisted jeans or over a dress, it’s soft, breathable, and durable. Each sweater is handcrafted in my rural tiny home studio using wool sourced from Canadian sheep and milled just a few hours away. It’s a slow fashion piece rooted in place, made from compostable materials with no overproduction and full respect for the land and farmers behind the fibre.

Designed for an oversized fit to suit various body shapes and sizes. Size down if you prefer a more fitted style.

  • Jill (long hair) is 5’4” tall, bust 37”, waist 30”, hips 40”, and is wearing a size 2 in Quarry. She typically wears size M
  • Shana (short curls) is 5’8” tall, bust 42”, waist 36”, hips 44”, and is wearing size 3 in Muskeg. She typically wears size L/XL

  • Fibre Origin: Wool sourced from the Canadian Prairies and milled in Carstairs, Alberta
  • Dyeing Method: Un-dyed, showcasing the natural hues of the fleece. 
  • Labels: 100% Organic Cotton
  • Note: Small knots may appear in the knitwear due to traditional spinning methods. These knots have been felted for durability.

Care Instructions

  • Refresh by hanging in the sunshine
  • Hand wash in cold water with mild detergent
  • Roll in a towel to remove excess moisture and lay flat to dry
  • Do not tumble dry or bleach
  • Cool iron if needed
  • Cut pills with scissors
