Description
The Timber Sweater is a raglan wool pullover for men, made-to-order using 100% undyed Canadian wool. With its timeless fit and sturdy warmth, it’s a work-ready, weekend-friendly piece that brings function and comfort together. Each one is handmade by me, Jillian Barvir, in my Alberta studio with wool sourced from local sheep and spun in a nearby mill. This sweater is part of a regenerative, circular system: natural, compostable, and fully traceable from farm to finish.
Designed for an oversized, relaxed fit to suit various body shapes and sizes. Size down if you prefer a more fitted style.

These measurements are based on the dimensions of the final garment, not on body measurements. For the best fit, we recommend measuring a similar garment you already own and comparing it to the chart.
- Bust: Lay the garment flat and measure across the widest part of the chest, just under the armholes.
- Full Length: Measure from the highest point of the shoulder (where the neckline meets the shoulder seam) to the bottom hem.
- Sleeve Length: Start at the base of the neck and measure down to the end of the cuff.
This sweater is an absolute treasure! The colour is the most gorgeous shade of heathered dark brown. I love how this sweater affords me a little extra length as a woman with a longer torso. It has become a new favourite to layer with, and wear outside this winter.
I love this sweater. The fit is amazing, and the sweater itself is warm and soft; and I could not be happier to be wearing such a lovely piece crafted by my great, longtime friend. A sweater that's equal parts rugged and chic, or so that's how I feel when I wear it. I look forward to my next purchase from Marty Lynn, and I would reckon that it will be part of my wardrobe for many years to come!
I love the feel and the color of my sweater. It is light and yet warm. I wear it on the farm and also to go to work. It's perfect!!
it’s my second skin. I have to recommend this to anyone looking for something you can wear literally all day. And cuz it’s wool— it’s at home in pretty much any environment (even wet) indoors and out. going outside i only put on a light shell and I’m g2g even in -15c happy happy camper. sustainable too chef’s kiss
I simply can't wear anything else in cold weather! This sweater is SOOO warm without being bulky or heavy. But not only is it warm, it's soft and stylish... I have never gotten more compliments on a sweater! I would have expected to pay $1,000+ for a sweater of this warmth and quality. I can't wait for more cuts and styles to come out as I'll be purchasing them all.
Lastly, the sustainability piece is an added bonus. It feels great to be wearing local Alberta wool made with Alberta hands.
